Grandor announced the supply of pre manufactured wall and floor panels.

The construction of a multi-storey residential building in downtown Ottawa poses challenges to the builder such as limited space. The use of pre engineered wall and floor panels reduces construction time and waste, and avoids storage issues as they are delivered section by section from Grandor Lumber.

Just wanted to say thank-you for helping me out with the patio door and then getting Shawn to help with the windows. When John the installer came out to measure up the door and windows, I asked his advise about the choice/ style of window and he made my decision that much easier. John and his crew were great, I couldn’t believe that they had the door and windows installed in a day. We are very satisfied with both the door, windows and the professionalism of John and crew. I would recommend Grandor at any time.

Our manufacturing led by our partners, Alpa Pre-Engineered Panels who are geared towards custom panelized packages for homes, townhouses, apartment buildings, condos and any special government projects such as low cost housing. Panelized construction is the next step in the growing evolution of the ‘stick frame” construction industry.

CWC – Ottawa Wood Solution Fair

The Canadian Wood Council (CWC) is the national association representing manufacturers of Canadian wood products used in construction. The promote us use of wood products in many ways including through education, wood design awards, wood solutions fairs.

The CWC is hosting a Wood Solution Fair in Ottawa on November 2, 2011.

The one-day event includes presentations and exhibits, held at the Ottawa Convention Centre.
