A: Energy Star certified products meet the strict guidelines set by Energy Star Canada. Certification is performed by a third-party testing facility approved by Energy Star Canada. This certification is assigned to each manufacturing facility, and each is monitored consistently to ensure quality is maintained.
Q: What is an Energy Rating?
A: An Energy Rating is a rating determined by the third-party testing facility that is approved by Energy Star Canada. The Energy Rating replaces the old R-value rating system, which is now obsolete.
Q: Why do we use Low E Argon glass?
A: Low Emissivity glass with Argon gas reduces heat loss and increases solar heat gain. It has become standard in today’s window and door products.
Q: What is your warranty?
A: We have a five-year warranty on the glass units, a two-year warranty on the frame components and a lifetime warranty on all hardware components.
Q: Do you manufacture custom sizes and shapes?
A: Yes. We can make custom size casement windows and we are the only manufacturer of shaped windows in the area.
